Installed back in 2007, has about 30k on it. No contact what so ever with the front cover. Links seem to be in good order, check it out.

So what do you guys think?! Should I replace just the chain with a new roll master one? Or should I just slap the front cover on and keep on truckin!

(Sorry for the sideways video making! LOL)

Mine had about 20K on it when I bought it and it was TIGHT...no where near that much pay in it...I'd toss a new chain on it.

Did you find you have a chamfer issue after that many miles or did you mod yours before you put it on?

No clearance issues what so ever, only used one front cover gasket and no machining done.

    just mod it...

if the chain is on an angle you'll see accelerated wear.

All I did was have the gear matched for the stock height of the factory crack gear...

it is going to be machined now, yes. when I installed it, this wasn't a known issue.
