    Ever since i had my car it really hasnt bothered me but now it is a drooping more! I am 99% sure my upper hinge on my fuel door is broken because my gas door sags to the bottom and hangs down and can be moved in odd ways. Well all im really asking is how to disassemble the fuel door and get it out so i can fix it or replace it thanks. -JP-

    I would guess that you could access it from the inner trunk, but it is just a guess

    ull the gas cap off, then there'* 2-3 7mm screws holding the plastic around the neck. Remove those and the plastic piece. Behind the body at the hinge are 2 10mm nuts holding the hinge on. plus if you remove your driver rear wheel then the plastic liner around the wheel well u can get better access to those hinge nuts then you can pull it through on the gas cap side and see if the hinges are rusted off the nut cage; here is some more info
    same thing happened to mine. jack up the car take off the tire and look up to where the gas door would be. there is a plastic cover over it. there is i think three screws that u have to take out when you open the gas door. remove the plastic cover and look at the hinge that the door moves on. im sure the top part of the pin is broken from being rusted. after you locate where the pin is tap out the old pin and replace it with a codder pin. then bend the ends of the pin so it doesn't come out. and that's it. i did it to mine over a year ago and nits still holding up great hope this helps you; from another forum ;

    more info on that door ;

    Unclip the plasic guts in your trunk to access the rear quarter panel, should be able to see it, and be forewarned- itts one of those things you curse at the whole time, aand be areful with the clips. Disassembly should reveal the tools required - need more let me know.
