    Hey,

I have an '02 Gt with a GM installed autostart...I have a fully powered battery, but zero power in the car...no lights, no starter. Something is disabling the battery. If I touch a wrench to the negative post on the battery, the headlights will flash and the car will power up. Sometimes it starts and sometimes the power cuts out again as I turn the key. Any ideas??

Are the terminals good? Put in a new ground cable and see if it takes care of it.

03 GTP...Its got pulleys and stuff.

It sounds like you may be having a passkey problem then, but it doesnt make sense that there would be no power when this happens. Does it do this when you start the car manually ( no remote start )?

Yes, I haven't used autostart in a few months because I thought that was the problem, now it does it regardless.

I would take it to a dealership or local mechanic that can load test the electrical system. I took mine to a dealership a few months back because I went through 3 alternators in 2 months...they only charged 50 bucks. It sounds like a short somewhere and I've never heard of these cars having a battery disable. I dont see what the point of it would be.
