What size gas tank do GTP's have? I read 17 gallons is that correct? I filled up according to the gas gauge, I was on dead E, it took a little over 14 gallons to fill up and went all the way to the full mark. Could my gas gauge be screwed up reading 3 gallons fewer?
Thanks for the help in advance I'm new to these cars.

The gas tank capacitys very a bit depending on the model year. Gas gauges don't read the last ~ 2 gallons, that is pretty much universal rule for any car. I'd say your gauge is working fine.

Just keep it over 1/4 tank and never worry about it. That will also prolong the life of your full pump.
