i found a bypass pulley for an 01 and older 3.1 litre GP se.. of coarse they dont have one for my car, but would this pulley fit on my 2002 3.1 litre? i really need one because the compressor is making a really loud metal on metal sound and i dont want to spend all the money on a new one plus i wanna lose the weight. any help would be appriciated, heres the pulley i found tho

you could also just run a shorter belt instead of getting the bypass pulley. But if you really want it then yes it is the same.

I think it may. I checked an AC compressor on Rockauto and it showed that it fit the 3.1 GP from 97-03
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Shorter belt does not work you need the pulley.
