    Hey guys im dropping my sc pulley from a 3.8 to a 3.4 what size belt will i need to run

    the thrasher site said 66" for 3.25-3.4 i just bought a 66.5"

    You can also just buy a 3.5" tensioner pulley for the SC tensioner and not change out the belt for that size pulley.
    This is cheaper than buying a new belt
    2005 GTP - AL 605's gapped at .055", SD headers, WAI with 9" cone air filter, 180 degree t-stat, green coolant, otherwise stock.

    ^^^ Exactly what I did and it works perfect.

    2002 GTP: GMPP Sway Bars, BMR trailing arms, KYB AGX/Vogtlands, 12" brake upgrade
    Modified SSAC headers, K&N Intake, 3.4 MPS, S1X, Gen V, 104's, HPTuned.

    thanks blue gtp and i was going to buy a big idler pulley but the belts have 112k miles on them so i figured ide dish out the $ for a new one

    can i swap the idler pulley from 3 in to 3.5 in?

    Yes you can as long as the tensioner pulley is still 3" with a stock sized belt.

    You MAY be able to bump both pulleys up to 3.5" with a smaller SC pulley, stock sized belt, and plenty of muscle power, but I don't know...
