The headlights on my GTP are as clear as mud - I need to have them replaced (I've sanded and polished - it's better but it's still terrible).

Anyway - I've heard of RockAuto on these forums and decided to take a look. These are significantly cheaper than any alternative I've seen. They're less than 1/2 the price of used ones at a junkyard.

    This makes me nervous.

    Anyone have experience with these?

Id like to know too. Searching for a quality aftermarket (if there is such a thing) set of headlights since OEM takeoffs ans NOS lights seem to be non existent.

Love rockauto. Everything I've gotten from them from panel switches to halfshafts have worked great. Haven't tried headlights but definitely interested to see how it goes.

I finally bit the bullet and got the RA headlights. Pictures are here.

    My observations:
    • They included new bulbs. I wasn't expecting this.
    • They're a perfect fit.
    • The adjusting screws are made of pot metal. The OEM adjuster screws use a Torx bit and are high carbon steel. These are a phillips head that will strip the first time you use them. But...a 1/4" socket fits the outside of the adjuster screw and you can adjust per normal procedure.
    • Made in Taiwan (the ones I got).
All in all, I'm very impressed. I was a little pissed with the crappy adjuster screws. Then I remembered that I paid $36/ea. This is less than 1/2 of a USED headlight assembly from an auto recycler.

I would definitely recommend these to pretty much anyone. As you can see, my old headlights were pretty well trashed. The pics you see in the gallery are with a clean car, and after I've used the headlight restoration kit (I've sanded and polished the crap out of my old lenes - they're still pretty worthless).

Time will tell how well these hold up. But, for the price, I can't be too critical.

This is what I bought. They were made by DEPO (Taiwan).

Thanks for the follow up and pictures. I will be purchasing a set of these over the winter when my car is in hibernation.

I just purchased the TYC Foglamps for my GTP from rockauto and they were fine. The old brackets on my foglamps were completely rusted out and they were a PIA to get out though.
