anyone know about the tracking control sensors and petal acceleration sensors causing the car to go below 30mph?

if so is there a way to disable these? heard the sensors to replace were spendy.

the sense code errors were as reported:

    Co420 PCM
Traction control not allowed, engine reduced power

    P125A
    p2125a > accelerator petal position # 1 & 2

    P2138A - APP Sensor correlation

Thanks for any help on this matter.

You may want to try and remove your TCS fuse under the hood. That may fix the problem until you can figure out whats wrong....Dont remove the TCC fuse though or you will be all screwed up...thats the Torque Converter Contol fuse.

I checked for the TCS sensor but i couldn't find it. Any other sensor it could be listed under or tied too?

I had an issue with something similar. The car would not accelerate past ~30 mph. I had a broken wire to a sensor near the front wheel (passenger, but sensors are near both wheels, not on the hub).

It was intermittent (sometimes car would run fine, then slow down), only because the wire would make/break contact.

What were you able to do till you fixed the problem? as far as fuses/sensors/wires and just be able to drive the thing?

I didnt do anything to it, the car would still drive. It would just not shift up to a higher gear, and if it did shift (when sensor/wire made contact), it would downshift again, rpm went up, car slowed down.
I just didnt drive it for a few days, til I had time to look into another issue (leaking power steering line due to friction against another line). I just happened to notice the broken wire.
Looking at diagrams, I think it was the sensor to the hub. But this was on a 97 SE, now I have a 00 GT.
If you need any diagrams for anything, let me know, I'll email them or post here if I can.

If there's a diagram that he needs that you don't have, PM me. I have access to a fairly thorough database.
