    Hello All,

I have a 2004 grand prix Gt that has the 3800 series III L32 motor in it. Has anyone pulled their motor and converted to V8 GXP? Is it possible?
I found this block on Morads ebay store and I would love to build a monster because my grand prix is just sitting in the garage with a car cover over it collecting dust.

LS4 Short Block Engine Motor 5.3L GXP SS V8 5.3L 38k: eBay Motors (item 350278060081 end time Aug-08-10 17:42:13 PDT)

Could someone please direct me to some instructions or give me a little info on this. Thanks in advance

Its dumb...its too cost effective for the gains...which...for cheaper you can make the V6 car way faster. There isn't hardly any aftermarket for the LS4...its a junk LSx engine. It gets very hot very easy due to the limited space in the engine bay. Put your money into the L32 and go way faster. And plus...look at all the broken sh1t on that thing.

L32 FTW dude. You'd be wasting your money throwing in a motor with absolutely no aftermarket backing unless you plan on spending like 6k to turbo it..

That being said, L32's have a ton of backing and can easily be modded to walk a GXP with ease

^they're pretty much right. Are you sure it's an L32 though, that'd be the gtp engine. Unless you typo'd and yours is actually a gtp.

2006+ GP GT have s/c and the T465E-HD that handles the power of the s/c and the LS. I thought a second about swopping for the LS, then woke up. The LS only has 40 more hp and torque. It would be so much easier to add spray or other things then motor swop. But if you do a swop make it RWD or AWD

    Swap...

    And...

The 4T65E-HD is the weak link...it can't hold anything more than a can of Planters getting thrown by a 6 year old with no arms.
