okay so when i first got the car it was overheating due to the dexcool that gm ued in their cars it turned to sluge in my rag and car. for the most part ive flushed out most of it and it does not overheat anymore.
Now even when its full my low coolant light flashes all day long (its just annoying) i know its full 100% and no leaks. my question is could the dexcool turned into sludge have broken the sensor? or are there any other way i can fix this

    Thankyou
    Frank

Your sensor is probably worn out but it's a easy fix. I had to replace mine in my 2000 GT when I got it. It's located on the passenger side of the radiator near the top. Just need to drain the radiator switch out the sensor and fill it back up.

Or you can just unplug the sensor and check the coolant every now and then.
