So I have never taken off the door panels of my 4 door,
but I need to take my mirrors off, so they need to come off.

Can someone please post some pics of the procedure, and what
clips are infamous for breaking. THanks!

2 bolts near door pull, and a bunch of plastic clips that break half the time (get a box of new ones you'll need them) they come off pretty easy

In AutoZone at the nuts and bolts section, orange boxes, they're white clips for GM vehicles, $2.99 a pack.

As far as the bolts, they're torx heads and if you look under the inside door pull you'll see two cosmetic plugs. Remove those and you'll have access to the bolts, they're installed at an upwards angle. After that, just start pulling. Be mindful of the plugs for the window switches and courtesy light (you can remove it before hand, your choice) and door handle.

Can't you just pull the top plate cover off a bit and then use a combination wrench to get those out without removing the whole door panel? Then disconnect the power wires?
