Ok, so I went to meet my family at the pool after work. Everything ws normal on the way there. When it was time to go home, the car would not start. Interior lights were very dim, and attempts to start resulted in nothing at all. I left my iPhone charging in the car, and I thought maybe that had drained it, even though it was only about 90 minutes. I tried to jump it off my wife's car. At first, I only got clicking. I let it sit for about 10 minutes with the cables hooked up, and then when I tried to start, it made a half-assed attempt to start. The engine turned over maybe one revolution. I pulled the battery and took it home to put on a charger. The charger indicated the battery was fully charged. I thought maybe it was a bad connection or ground, so I took the battery back over, cleaned the terminals and bolts, and checked the ground. Once I reconnected the battery, the interior lights were again very dim. I hooked up the jumper cables again, and the lights were of normal brightness, and all the accessories (windows, locks, etc) worked, but the car would not crank. I left the cables on for 20 minutes this time, and when I tried to start, I got maybe 1 1/2 revolutions, then nothing. I ended up leaving the car there for the night. So, any thoughts as to what's going on?
The only other unusual thing was, about a week ago, my "Service Engine Soon" light came on. I pulled the code, and it was MAF Low Voltage. Car ran fine like that for a few days, then started stumbling, so I disconnected the MAF, and it's been fine. I was planning on replacing it next week.
Oh, it's a 2000 GTP.
