Hey im well aware that there is a headers and manifolds forums. I have actually posted this same post on the Header and Manifold forum and it hasn't gotten a response for a while, it hasn't been active for a half month. If you decide to move this forum i'll understand but hopefully ill get some info. i need before you do. Thanks.

Hey i've got some questions for both the Pacesetter and SSAC Headers. If someone takes a few minutes to answer these questions fully id really appreciate the help ! Thanks !

-When it comes to the pacesetters are they extremely hard to seal ? Or just a little time consuming ? And exactly how intense is the weld job for these?

-Also as far as the SSAC what would i need to do to fix the slip joints ( is it practical ) ? And what are the cons for the O2 sensor hitting the floor board? (Noob question i know).

    Thanks everyone !

ssac are better IMO, coper rvt on the slip joints (get some band clamps too) and I just got an o2 simulator that way i did not need a o2 ext harness and had no problems with the o2 sensor hitting the floor board(left the screw in plug in the bung).

Preface, i have installed or help install every set of headers on the market and some ones that are not on the market any more

Pace****ters are a very poor designed header, the doughnut gasket from the front to the crossover never seals good, and then there is always a leak at the y pipe where the rear meets the crossover. you need to weld the Y pipe section

SSAC are the SLP knockoffs. They are very close to the SLP in design, they fit awesome. The only down side is the downpipe of the SSAC have a ticking problem. You will want that replaced before they are installed. The ZZP triple wall flex pipe is a great replacement V band clamps make the install easy and leak free

FWIW i have a set of the Orignal SLP's on my car with the ZZP TW flex

The flex pipe part of the Header. Gives you a ticking sound I just wrapped mine with header wrap.
