I just bought this 04 GT2 with a clean carfax. Turnes out is has been back halved, front clipped and flooded. Needless to say I have a few problems. The car is very straight and drives well but the longer I drive it the more I find wrong with it. I hope I dont wear on anybodys patience with all my questions. Thanks to everyone in advance!!!!!

rodburner, what indicated that the car is actually two cars? are half the vin's different?, if so, how did it have a clean car fax?, did you buy from a dealer?
oopps, seems like I am the one asking all the questions, sorry. One more, what kind of problems are you having. If it is backhalved, I think I would contact the entity that sold it to you, and complain to the DMV.

I took it to a body shop and put it on a lift. you could tell that the floor pans had been replaced as well as the quarter panels and spare tire well and the compass modual is probably missing as well since I cant get it to calibrate. The front clip has been replaced and and the temp sensor was missing. All in all the work is above parr just missing some compenets, am going to have the BCM scanned tomorrow.
