Hey everyone! Maybe someone can help me out...

SO I have put a cold air intake and a new SLP exhaust system on my 04 GTP and it sounds good but it doesnt feel much more powerful than it did before the mods. Is there something else I need to do that will get the HP that the add ons are suppossed to be creating?

Headers, tune, and SEARCH is your best friend.

Exhaust doesn't necessarily add HP, your just opening it up for more flow.. As shawn said, Headers and a tune would help you out alot.

Like it was said. Headers and free flowing exhaust doesn't really create power but helps support the power you want. Headers may create say 10 hp but will allow you to run a smaller pulley thus allowing it to support more power. The engine is just an air pump, the more air you get in the more you need to put out.

I was about to say. Get headers and a tune for it. Then put a 3.6" pulley on it. That'll make the difference. Or, intercool it.
