Decided to mount my fire extinguisher inside the cabin with me, and in a place thats with in reach in case its needed.
My original plans were to mount it in the trunk out of the way, but I can see as fate would have it, there is either a fire that takes out the electrical supply, or an electrical short that starts a fire, either way, I would be S.O.L. getting inside the trunk because I have shaved my trunk lock.
Next best place was under the glove box, and use the existing holes, and screws that are already there.
I started off measuring, and did a dry install and it will fit, but not all the holes lined up that the bracket had predrilled in it already. So made another hole, the one my finger is covering up:
Got it mounted using the screws that hold the glove box to the frame of the dash, so its a real strong secure mounting point:
