Hey everybody,
GPforums, I need your help once again..
I have mentioned in previous threats that my car was having problems starting, so I finally decided to take it into a shop. They plugged their machine in to see if it was throwing up any error codes, and they didn't see any. The guy who was working on my car said that the only thing he was getting "erratic" readings from was the TAC. He suggested replacing it, and he estimated that it would cost right around $550 after labor and tax. I thought that the problem might have been my fuel injectors, but I recently got a cleaning a couple months ago at the local shop. What should I do, just replace the TAC? Oh and for the record, the guy I was on the phone with said he was only 90% sure that this would solve the problem.
If you guys could help me out, I would be forever in your debt.
Thanks,
Billyb
