Yup probably LIM gasket. Have any milky stuff on the bottom of the oil fill cap? The LIM bolts will sometimes let oil seep up through them which you can use threadlock to stop and it could be the valve cover gaskets, but that wouldn't explain the coolant. The LIM gaskets are just way to common of a problem so... have fun

See I changed the gaskets about 10,000 ago. Would they have failed that quickly or could it have just taken that long to wear out a weak point?

They shouldn't have, but if you used the plastic ones (like I did b/c I didn't know about the aluminum ones yet ) then it's very possible. You could try to give it a thorough inspection, but if you don't see anything obvious it's gonna be the LIM.

I'm new here but I just recently went through this, Dorman makes an aluminum updated gasket for these engines at a good price. Includes all and I mean all! gaskets neccesary(did I get that right neccesary) LOL any way,to do the job inc. LIM bolts. for the 3.1 or 3.4 engines the part # is 615-205 a good place to get this kit is www.ecaronlineusa.com besides the job is fun and educating if ur new to it. Hope everything works out 4 ya.

Go to zzperformance.com and look under gaskets, they have the aluminum ones for around $55. I think some part stores have them. Its definintely the best way to go, I've been thinking about replacing mine with the aluminum ones and I just put in plastic ones
