The car is used to having a stock cat if you put one in that flows a lot better the car doesn't think there is a cat in there. You can tune the code out.

Recently just put in ZZP headers and the 3 inch cat back and zzp mufflers. Good power gains also sounds mean but a real pain to put them in. Had to pull the valve the cover off and the tranny dip stick and once we got the back header in the tranny dip stick wouldnt mount back in its spot cause its caught on the crossover pipe. But dosent leak so, so far its all good. but other than that i love them a little expensive spent 1505.18 for everything headers, TOG down pipe, Stainless Cat back, Mufflers, Clamps, Bolts, Gaskets (manifold and flange) so other than its a pain its a real nice set up.
and a catback
but still, holy crap $1500 is a lot for that.
Yeah it is a lot of money but it will never rust so basicly set for life so I see why there expensive but it makes one hell of a power gain tho.
yeah i hoping to do mine for $1300 Stainless steel all the way from the headers to the tips
Yeah stainless is the way to go..
And I'm not to sure if I'm gunna keep it we not.. I was just using "set for life" as a figure of speech lol
stainless is much more expensive than aluminized steel and i would rather replace pieces along the way then put in that initial big sum for a catback that does nothing for the car, but make it sound poopy.
You save a 170$ with aluminized mind as well spend that extra for stainless if your doing all that work putting those headers in.
My headers and cat back only cost $200
Yeah but how does it sound?
No 3800 sounds good so i'll say mine sounds average.
Mine sounds pretty good. Has a nice rumble to it. But once you get till like 4500 rpm it starts to sound like a ricer.
Mine sounds fine at lower rpm but if you get on it at all it sounds horrible. I've had many people ask me how I put a v8 it in lol
Haha yeah that's what it was like when I had mine just straight piped.
Hey Bio do you have a diesel in Pontiac?!? There is no point to put 4 inch
i realize that, but you'll be cool, right?
Obvious?
