Got a few questions on this one. My grand prix has hit about 125k and I have been wanting to get something newer for a while. I love the car to death but I always like to get new things. I have been looking at a 2008 Dodge Charger (base model with the 2.7l v6). Does anyone have any experience how it will compare to my grand prix now (handling, acceleration, drivability in snow, etc.)???

Probably won't compare as in your better off with your Grand Prix. The Charger probably has new styling if you get tired of the Grand Prix styling. But I think performance wise, the Grand Prix would be your better option. I think the only nice looking Chargers are the Srt-8's because of it being lowered, new body kit and hood and sexy rims. I really don't like how bland the stock base model Chargers look.

    Personel Preferance though..
At least you'll get that new car smell.

pshh if u gonna get a a freaking Dodge get a way funner GTO or G8 one hundred percent faster and funner to drive dodges are sluggish especially if you are used to a GM powered car. GTO and G8 look better.

Im not gonna dog your choice even though I hate dodges. Make sure you take off the lug nuts by hand they tend to twist. They also don't get around for crap in the snow my buddies got a hemi one.

I don't wanna hate on you but a charger without a v8 well.......idk let alone the smallest motor in the line up. You can find lots of cars better than that.

the 2.7 is fairly under powered for the car. but if your just looking for a more comfortable riding car, that has slightly more room then why not. A member on here has a 2.7 v6 charger and he doesn't hate it. You could always turbo it

I would be that member lol.. You know the car itself is comfortable to ride in. As far as power, hell it cant even get out of its own way.. 0-60 in like 7 days...I would suggest the 3.5 if you dont want a V8.

Yo do NOT want the 2.7L!!!! It is a slug in that car, you want the 3.8L, or V8.

I was in a loaded 3.8L 300C, with 4 peoope and it had plenty of power, nice ride!

Do not get the 2.7L, it will be hard to sell when ready and was basically used for CAFE standards and rental car fleets!

There is no 3.8, its a 3.5 V6. And all the 300C's were hemi's if i remember correctly.

I agree. Get the 3.5 if you are getting a charger. The 2.7 is sluggish in a sebring let alone a charger. All of the 2010 model 300C's are hemi's anyways.
