ok people, i put in a new pcm and now it keeps throwing error code p0650 at me ( P0650 Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) Control Circuit) im pretty sure its cuz of the hid kits that i put in there, the old computer never did it, only started after i put the new pcm in, but nothing else is wrong or has been changed with the car that would cause that code, so how do i make it stop? i have searched all day to find no answers.

From reading the description on alldata, it almost appears that something is not grounding right..

yea im not thinking hids would cause a mil light problem but i could be wrong Id unhook the battery and disconect the pcm and then hook it up again and rehook the battery and see if it still come on
ANd do a wiggle test on the wiring harness to see if it changes anything

no the light isnt burnt out, but because everytime i erase the code, the computer keeps sending it out and after two or three starts it turns the light on again.

before i put a new pcm in, every time i turned the hids on, the headlight icon in the HUD would display, you know the one that is either for brights on or headlight out or whatever, sometimes it would stay on constantly, sometimes it would flash without any pattern, almost like somethin is loose, but i check the ballasts and harnesses and they arent loose, but no matter what it did, it never put the ses light on. so i guess it couldnt be the hids.
all i did electrically while installing mods was obviously disconnect the battery, put in a new pcm, plugs and wires, and i had to move my fuse box to get at the pully, but the only thing i actually had to disconnect there was that two black wires connected held in by that nut. so i guess the only thing to do is to re trace my steps. if anyone has any other suggestions id love to hear it. and does it matter how those two wires are connected. i mean one goes on top of the other, so it really shoudnt. i will try to switch it and see i guess.

so i disconnected and reconnected everything, inspected and cleaned the battery connections and the pcm connections, even tho the pcm was perfectly fine, and it threw the code at me again. i could be interpreting the description of the code wrong, but if the battery voltage is low, would that cause it to throw this code at me? other then that the only other solution i can see would be to replace the PCM(specially since the old pcm didnt do it) even tho i just got this one from Will!!! dammit!! as far as the hids, i guess it doesnt have anything to do with that, cuz i didnt even have to turn the lights on or the engine for it to throw the code at me again. i'm open to any solutions/suggestions

well after sitting and thinkin about it for two seconds, the answer was right in front of me. all the grounds and connections are fine. it never did it with the old pcm, so its gotta be the new pcm, which means will overkill gave me a faulty pcm, which also means i am screwed cuz he never responds to email (i emailed him twice while i was in japan to tell him i wouldnt be able to return my old pcm within his 45 day limit, and he never responded, also he has not responded to any pms on here) so i still have my old pcm, but i cant use that with my new setup, so if they guy would ever respond what he should do is either send me a new one, i send him this new one, or i send him my old one and he can re program it the same since i know that one is fine. i really dont want to have to pay the dealership to do there little tests just to see if grounds or connections are ok. anyone have a better way to get ahold of will. oh yeah, and i also already wasted 50 bucks to have the dealership do the case learn since p1336 popped with the new pcm. so now i will have to do that AGAIN!!!! ****.
