Not really just custom fab as usual. I thought it would be cool to do something like this as well but just dont have the $$/place to do it. There was a guy who dropped in a northstar and it barely fit so you are gonna need a getrag 282 or an auto for it. I would do the 5 speed personally.

cars getting gutted and completely redone. tax returns will be my freind for the next couple yrs. theres a guy that comes in my work who has personally done two diff 350 swaps into 97-03 style GPs and he said its really not all that hard. but i think itll be an awesome one-off car when its done.

do you have the know how to do this? if so then explain to me what needs to be done. not only am i skeptical of you, i want to see if you even know what youre going to have to do besides rip one motor out and try to adapt another motor in.

im not the gear head my friend is. so im gna basically be paying for it and learning from helping him install. my dads got plenty of friends who know there way around a car. RWD swap is deff going to be happening. i know theres going to be alot of custom fab thats gona be needed. and wiring harness. suspension upgrade for a bigger motor.

Its such a huge job tons of fabing and a whole lot of time for trial and error

If you have some one who had done 350 swaps into them then maybe it wont be that bad... Personally i wouldnt touch a job like this for under 15k

if your serious about this, like for real serious...Sorry about your luck but you need to build an entire tube chassis, integrate it into the GP chassis, fully cage it and THEN you MAY be able to get a working rear end under it but still need to do something along the lines of a 4 link rear end...Anyone you know understand how to make a custom 4 link? I helped build a RWD 93 Probe with a 306-C6-8.8 and it was totally retarded! Fast and insane, but stupid amount of time and money
F clean cars, I Ride Dirty!.....to hide the wicked body damage...
97 GP GTP- Mystic Teal, 218k, fixing the damage
91 Cherokee- 4 in. Lift, 31 Kumho M/T, tons of fun
03 Chevy S10- full bag setup on order, will drag frame in under a month

you know its gonna be a lot heavier especially going rwd, your going to ruin a good car for what, i also thought about a v8 but just not enough room without hacking the car all up. you could do it years ago, but now with everything computerized your gonna lose alot of gauges and have cheap gauges stuck everywhere. but its your car so do what you want, more power to you.
