So I bought this Comp G back at the end of February and the HUD is on but is stuck up , if I duck down I can see it. Anybody have any ideas? Worst come, I have to tear it out and fix it.

If you push the down arrow on your control knob, do you hear the motor turning? The way it works is a spring pulls down on the mirror and an oblong wheel turns when you press the up/down control that pushes the mirror arm up. Kind of like a cam lobe pressing on a rocker. If you can hear it run but doesn't move, I'd guess the spring may be broken.

I'm not really sure. I'll have to go out and look at it at lunch.

There is a write up for this somewhere. The attachment point for the spring is broke. Happens to most 04's and many 05's. With some small screw drivers, needle nose pliers and some superglue or plastic puddy you can fix it. Basicly just need to strech the spring back to its attach point and complete the little plastic loop with the puddy so it won't come off again.
