I have a 99 GT and I have a heads up display that I want to put on but I'm not certain how to put it on exactly. I was searching for a "how to post" hoping that someone has done it already but can't find any... If anyone can help me, I would really appreciate it.

There's a decent one on RegalGS.

Basically take the wiring from the hud, use a schematic to figure out which wires to tap into and connect to the wiring leading to the cluster.

I've done a bunch on Bonnevilles and Regals. overall it's as easy as trimming some coating off the wires and soldering the HUD wiring in, then taping.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I'm not worried too much about the wiring because I read somewhere that on the 99 GT's the wiring harness is still in there. I'm just confused about where to cut the dash to fit the Hud in...

My 2000 grand prix already has a HUD, but it only seems to work intermittenly. Sometimes the display is on and sometimes its not.. Any idea whats wrong? Is there something I need to replace?

If you trust yourself with a soldering gun, you can fix it yourself.
