in my case, it was a bad connection between the computer and the front passenger side ABS sensor. be sure to inspect all wiring.....

ive got the same problem, when i got the car they said it was a sensor under my seat? or soemthing... but they said teh ABS works.. well thankfully i didnt have to wait until winter to find out, NOPE doesnt work... i went sliding the other day in a rain storm..
so now i wanna know how to fix it and how much it will set me back.. HELP!!
get it scanned to hopefully find out which wheel it is...........and hope that it is just one wheel bearing.......
You can scan it and find out? Would you be able to do this with a regular hand scanner or does it require an expensive one from a shop?
cant do it with a regular obd2 code reader. you can get a pretty decent abs code reader from $100-$150 on ebay if you search for "actron"
10 amp fuse in fuse box underhood could be blown or missing. forgot the number location but i take mine out when i want to boil the tires off. its labled abs module i beleive.
It does most of the time mean a bad wheel bearing.
if it is an abs sensor usually it is just one............but it could also be the ABS controller........which is next to your brake master cylinder and this does control more than one tire.......that is why you need to get the code read to find out...
thanks for the input guys, i have also noticed the blower fan for the ac is only working on 5, 1-4 theres nothing, would this tie into any of this?
where is the blower motor resistor located?
