Hey does anyone have an idea how to install a new gauge cluster? I bought a white one off ebaymotors with a dimmer switch and was wondering how to go about it. Thanks!

Did it come with instructions? You have to take the trim piece off the dash (the one people paint). There will then be screws/bolts to remove the whole gauge cluster. You have to take that apart then also.

Lay your head on the drivers side floor and look up and you will see 2 screws. Remove. The bottom peice above the pedals can just hang. Next you will have to remove the the trim that surrounds the instrument cluster and hvac controls. This is just clipped in so starting on the left around the gauges all you have to do is pull. Tilt your steering all the way down. Continue pulling until until the entire dash piece is removed. Unclip the fog light switch plug and lift the entire dash piece out of the way. Next their will be 2 screws holding the gauges, remove. Pull guages out and remove 2 plugs on the back. Remove the screws holding the clear lens on the guages and install your overlay. You will need to pull out the needle stops (small pegs) but dont remove the needles. You will also need a power and ground source. You can use power from one of the wires u unplugged from the gauges. I forget what colour but with a test light u can find it. Ground to anything steel. Reinstall.

Looks nice. Does it fit in with the overall interior? Like, does it stick out like a sore thumb or does it blend?

We need some pics of it with the glow at night, also. The glow looked sweet on the ebay page...

It stuck out too much for me. I have the nascar special edition so it's two-toned leather on the inside (you can see the two shades of grey used in the one pic, light grey for dash/middle of seats/etc and dark grey for steering wheel and the rest) So the white was kinda off especially with the new stereo deck I just put in. The glow was really bright and lit well, I ran the dimmer switch behind everything and had it come out by the ash tray for easy access. Unfortunately I took it out and am probably gonna sell it on here or craigslist for 15 if anyones interested. The glow looks identical to the ebay page and looks great. It just wasn't for me.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Seems a tad too flashy for my likes.

Sick. is that the i410 glow gauges WITH a bezel trim over it? And are you having any rubbing problems with the needles?

Yes, carbon fibre bezel over top the white gauges. It was too much white without the bezel. If your having trouble with the needles rubbing you can actually pull the needles out quite a bit to make more clearence without any issues
