OK I have this strut bar from ZZP:
ZZ Performance
The strut bar is about a half inch to short. I can't drill a new hole because there isn't enough width on the brackets to do that. Does anyone have any tips? Thanks.

That sucks...I'd send it back and make them put new brackets on it.
ZZP FTL yet again.
+1 on the fitmment issue. Give them a call, and see whether or not it is compatible with your 04. Having an 07 myself, I have noted that there seems to be a whole lot more after market stuff for the 97-03 cars.
Don
I called them up and asked them before I ordered it if it would fit my '04 and they said yes. Theres a guy who wrote a review on it in the review/comment section under the product who said he put it on his '05. I tried jacking up one side of the car to see if that would make a different, it didn't.
I don't understand why they don't say what freaking car it fits on their product description. After my 8 month old crack plog and now this, I'm done with ZZP.
not a fitment issue. lift the front of the car up in the air. i have the same bar, its tight, but it fits. you can always use a little hammer persuasion.
i recommend this bar over any of the others because it uses all three strut bolts.
