I'm lookin for some clarification, fellas. I've got a complete 3" exhaust on my GTP, with dual magnaflows... and it's got a bit of a drone... i'm wanting to put a resonator in to help with that... does anyone know what the largest diameter body size is that will fit in the tunnel? is it 5 or would a 6" fit?

Not sure, but this is what I would use.

    Summit SUM-630820 - Summit Glasspack Mufflers - summitracing.com

I used one on my exhaust for the same reason and I was VERY happy with the results.

The Stainless Works resonator that I have is 6" in diameter and, honestly, it's a bit large for our exhaust tunnel. It hangs down a small amount past the undercarriage. That, couple with the fact that I'm lowered on Gen 2 SSC's means that it doesn't like the large speed "humps" very much. While it hasn't been damaged and I've never had any problems, it's size is a bit of a concern. It'd probably be best to stick with a 5" round or smaller, but 6" does fit.

I know it's hard to tell from a picture but sisnce that resonator isn't straight through, there may be a potential for KR. The one on my catback, removed by Trannyman, was straight through but had raised ribs and gave me 6* of KR no matter the pulley installed.

hadnt thought about KR... its not completely straight through, no... but it keeps the flow @ 3" so no reduction there...
