Well I have been having this problem for a long time now, and I'm sure this has happened many of times with this car.
MY car does not want to start every time I try. Sometimes it will seem to start but the gas never kicks in. Then if I try it and put my foot on the gas, it will start. It only does this when I try to start my car. It never stalls once it is going. I took it to a shop and they said the throttle actuator is the problem and it would cost $564.00.
Does anyone have any experience with this? The tech told me this part was hard to find but he found one. I also know they will try to sell you new parts even if its just a minor thing that can be fixed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Chris

well thanks.. cleaning the throttle body seems to have worked.. i went to a mechanic...but they charged me 50 bucks ... 40 labor and 10 for the cleaner.. I know it would cost me like 3 bucks if I knew what I was doing.. Im buying a manual to learn on my own.

It's easy. Take off the intake tube, push throttle plate open. Clean. Turn the key to on, wait a few seconds, go back to off, repeate a few more times (relearns the throttle plate position). Should be like new.
