at least some of them, are available from mouser electronics --but you'll need to buy ALL parts of the connectors separate, typically (connector body, pins, seals, terminal locks, etc.
if i have a chance, i can see what i can dig up.
Toasty, I dont mean to burden you with more stuff, but you have ordered a few of these connectors already, correct? Is there anyway I could get you to make up a list of the connectors and all related parts with the part numbers and stuff? If thats a lot of work, just say so, I was thinking it would be good information to have in the How To area.
I havent ordered any of the weatherpack connectors yet, but there are MANY part numbers out there. -- the connector bodies are one thing, but the male/female connector pins? there can be MANY MANY MANY options for these, depending on what size of wire, pin material, etc.
I have the p/n's in my writeup for the HUD extension harness, if you wanted we could pull those out and just start adding items to a how-to list as someone uses them?/needs them?
That would be a good start. We could either put it in the How To section or I could keep it on my hard drive until we get a decent list.
putting it on your hard drive makes it as useful as me having it on mine :P
do we want this in the how-to section, or peraps in a tips'n tricks type section, like i suggested for my ratchet strap engine rotator trick? (perhaps a sub-section of the how-to section)
Well the hard drive was just a place to keep it until we got a good list going. By no means would it have stayed there. Now that I have an AllData account I would be scouring connectors and pins and stuff I assure you.
I would say start a separate thread in the electrical section for now and I'll sticky it so that you can edit it as it needs to be or we can work on it together if you let me know what I need or can do.
Once we get a sizeable list going we can move it to the How To Section and then update that on a periodic basis.

we'll start with that
may adjust the layout later, but it's a start.
Yep I got it stickied for you already.
i cant seem to locate the mating connector to the oe fog lamp socket.. seems the fog lamp socket is made specifically to fit the cavity/clip of the fog lights. there is a plug or two that would fit dimension wise, but the retaining clip is different, so it wouldnt have a good way to stay together without wrapping the whole thing in 7 layers of electrical tape!
Anything useful here?

nope. nutthin. back in black has the only feasible solution on his site.. take a fog light bulb, remove the glass portion, and solder wires to the existing pins, then use epoxy/mold to encase the connection..
