You don't want the tube sucking fresh air, it'll make you run lean. You either need to hook it up to the headers or completely disable the EGR system.

I'd block it off at the lower intake manifold and remove it completely. In fact, I did.

Yep. If you block off the EGR at the LIM it's now useless. Well, it's useless anyway. Ditch that crap.

Gonna have to get the codes deleted if you do a full removal, though.

yes. mine is just hanging there. you have to delete some codes in the PCM otherwise it will always have an SES light.

Not sure what clip you're talking about but it must be a GP thing. There's nothing hanging there except the EGR plug which I've actually tucked away.

I like how it opens up room in that area:

I consider that dirty. You can see dirt on the dogbones and around the coil packs. Damn pollen.

Yup as long as it is blocked off at the Header and LIM then take the entire piece out...just wrap the wires back around somewhere or put it in the loom...I took my wiring for it out...sometimes I wish I didn't but meh...oh well...I'll never put the EGR back in...I'll let the dealership who sells it worry about putting all the emissions back on it

    I think the codes are P0404, P0405, and P0406, but I'm not 100% positive.
