    Just figured I would ask...I haven't driven a bone stock GTP for 2 years and was wondering about this...I went to test drive a '01 GTP with about 78K on it yesterday...leaving the lot I put it down into 1 and the RPM's just wrapped out and it neutral bombed itself when I gave it gas...but in 2, 3, or D it was fine and didn't do that when I gunned it. Also when rolling from a 30mph and punching it...she took about 2-3 seconds to downshift. Normal? Or is that some sort of torque management setting in the stock PCM that I had just forgotten about? I don't remember this happening in my stock '03...but I know the tranny's aren't the same...didn't know if this meant the thing was slipping or what...it just scared the living piss out of me when a L67 does a 4 grand neutral drop...

    Lemme know your thoughts guys...

    Nope. Bought mine last summer bone stock never ever did that. I'd run away from that one.

    Thanks...not sure what happened...but I looked at the brakes afterwards too...the front rotors were literally about a 1/4" thick...IF that
