First off, let me just say I used this website to fix my HVAC blower from another person's post, so kudos to you guys!

Ok, so today I noticed that my wiper fluid was not spraying. I have adequate fluid, and the as far as I can tell the line isnt frozen. (Never had that problem anyway with my grand prix even though its outside in middle of no where michigan.) I noticed that it doesn't sound like the fluid pump is on when i attempt to clean the windshield, only think I can hear is the wiper action.

So... is there any chance that the fluid pump has a fuse, I checked the manual and didnt see one. If not, is there somesort of relay i should check first. And finally, if all are no's and I need to replace the pump, am I correct that the pump can be accessed from the passanger side wheel well?

    Thanks for the help!

I hope I posted in the correct location, if not, I wont mess up again, I promise .

Check under the fender wall where the reservoir is. Have someone turn on the wash function and listen for sound coming from the reservoir.

On my old MC I had a pump go out, and I picked one up from the junk yard for like 5$.
If you go the junk yard route, go to a yard with a 30 day guarantee, or bring a battery with you (9V) to test out the pump while you are there.

The pump more or less just plugs into the side of the reservoir, and is held in place with a rubber grommet.

As for a fuse, check above the battery or inside the glove box. I'm not sure since I am not near my car ATM.

the same thing happened to my GP, i just replaced the pump and it works great now. the pump is inexpensive anyways, around $15 at napa. I just turned my wheels so that i didn't have to take the wheel off, it is a tight space but it is still easy to do. Just take off the wheel well cover thing, and you will see the pump right in there.
    hope that helps.
