The only mods that I had on the engine was a Thraser CAI. Now there was an instance that caused me to think that there was piston damage. My car started misfiring and I pulled the spark plugs and the plug on the third cylinder was damaged. The ground electrode hit the center electrode tip and I guess I should have looked into it further. Oh well, I guess that's it, new block time.

You would actually be surprised at how many people run with chipped pistons for a loooong time and not even know it.

Thanks to all that have responded to this. Now my next question is, anyone have a complete short block? I can't get it now cause it's bill time but we could make future araingments. Thanks everyone!

Heres another picture, it's kind of scary on how they are pretty much in the same spot and same size. Could anyone explain why would this be?

forged pistons will break too if you dont have a good tune. waste of money, in my opinion.

Thanks for the advice Nick. Should I go with a L32 block or go with the L26 with more compression for this build? If I'm going to do this I better do it right.

Well, if you decide to go with stockers, I've still got 3 good ones... The other three look like yours.

EDIT: Also, I would recommend, if you don't have already, to get a P-log or a set of headers. The stock front mani isn't too friendly to extra boost.

Yup! My supporting mods are larger injectors.

Shipping, I hate shipping. I could have three different engine blocks but shipping is insane. Oh well, I'll look around the local junkyards (NOTE: I live in the middle of nowheresville)
