My 2002 GP years ago, one time the horn blew for about 2-3 sec, for no reason while I was driving it That was like in 2005 !!! Car was 3 years old. Never did it again.

Just recently it happened in 2024? While I was driving it, the horn sounded for about 2-3 sec.

Tonight, in front of my house . . . it did it just sitting there?

no lights come on, just the horn blows, again about 2-3 sec.

Where are the actual horns located, I guess behind the front grill, are they easy to get to? Where is the horn relay located, is it easy to get too . . . any ideas on what might be causing this? How to troubleshoot it?

Until I fix it, what is the best way to "disconnect the horn" when I park it overnight, just disconnect battery?

I have a 2001 Grand Prix. The horns are located in front of the windshield fluid reservoir. You might be able to get to it from underneath once you pull the plastic shrouds off or by taking the passenger headlight out. I have my bumper loose, inner fenders and most bottom shrouds removed, and headlight out. These images show the horn from the wheel well and from the headlight.

Trying to stay pretty close to stock now. Just a few bolt-ons for fun.
Trying to keep it alive, pretty, and fun.

If at any point the steering wheel or driver's airbag has been removed, a possibility of damage to the plastic tube that extends from the clockspring and contains a spring loaded plunger (which is the horn connection) can easily become damaged or out of place and could cause this. Use proper precautions if working on or around any SIR system components. Airbags snap bones like twigs.
All Grand Prix, all the time. 69 Model J, 99 GT & GTP coupes. All junk, haha.
