Means I never have to worry about that ****ty oil sending unit leaking again. The oil gauge sending unit that goes with this gauge replaces the factory POS and doesn't leak. I've only worn one out, but no leaks.

Not really. Just a single wire with a ring terminal crimped on at the sending unit then run up to the gauge. Then you tap into a power source for the backlighting on the gauge itself so it comes on with your headlights. I used one of the fuses on the drivers side of the dash to wire mine. Probably the hardest part is getting the wire through the firewall to the dash. I'd have to look at mine and see where I ran it as I did it so long ago.

FYI, if you do install a 2 or 3 gauge A-pillar cover you WILL loose some of your sightline to the left. Not much, but it's there. You get used to it. I will say it's really nice to be able to just glance over at eye level and know if there is an issue or not.
