    hello, I replaced the rear struts on my 2004 grand prix and the cam angle is off. how do I go about correcting this problem.. I do have the tool to check the cam angle. Thank you.

    you can slot the struts or buy camber bolts. they've got a lobe like a cam does to pull or push the strut in or out.

    slotting the struts works best with a carbide die grinder bit. ive done it both ways.

    For better camber adjustment in the rear, slot the TOP strut to knuckle mounting holes.

    For the front camber adjustment, slot the bottom "strut to knuckle" mount holes.

    Got to remove the strut from the car to do it.

    yes, I also have this problenm on right rear only. (07 GP base) 123K MILES, new strut assemblIES today, also have camber adjusting top bolts, but that is not enough for the right side rear. . measured after install of new struts and still off. Am going to remove top bolt and slot strut mount about 1/8th inch, I think that should suffice and get camber same as other side...on a side note, I only get 22k miles out of that right rear tire and inner couple inches of tire was smooth compared to rest of tread that still looked good. other side is almost wearing pefectyly even.
