My "good old" 2002 GP is having an occasional problem, noted in the summer with AC on. On the driver side only the temp gradually goes up on its own, passenger side stays OK. Like it is deciding on its own to "mix " the AC & heater, normally something I'd tell it to do.

If I take the driver side temp control and work it up and down afew times, it works perfect again. I also note if I hit a bad bump . . . it acts up, but again running the drivers side temp control up & down afew times . . . brings it back to normal . . . until I hit a bump again !

I am thinking of replacing the actuator for the driver side , since I have the dual temp control is there one on the drivers side and one on the passenger side? Where is the driver side one located, is it "kind of " easy to get to ?

    Thanks,

    Al

I'll give you a tip on searching here. If you google what you are looking for and then put grandrpixforums.com behind it you will likely find better info. The search feature here can be spotty. So you would search for "blend door actuator grandprixforums.com"

    Just makes it easier!
