So I discovered a lot of the clips are missing from the trim that run around the instrument cluster and radio.

The dealer has not been helpful here, does anyone know a part number for these little metal clips?

Not sure on the GM part number but if you can measure on of the existing ones you can likely find it at a parts store or Ebay. Worst case hit up a junkyard and snag a few.

My question would be are the plastic tabs on the cluster bezel still in place to install the clips. I've pulled a few over the years and noticed that someone was in there before me and snapped a few off.

Well I found what looks like the clip and the aftermarket discontinued them.

I look to be lucky, all the tabs were there. I've rearranged the clips for now so that there's support in the corners. Unfortunately there's not a lot of pick and pull wreckers left here any more.

If you can show me a pic or link to a pic of one I may have found a source for them. I can't remember what they look like and don't want to pull my bezel to check

Thanks for the offer! I've already put the panel back in place.

I decided to be "clever" and make sure the corners at least have anchor points. I didn't have to to wander around a wrecker, and around here I think there's only the one that has a GP, and it's the the part of the yard where you can't help yourself to parts.

I've been driving it for a week and nothing is squeaking, so I'm just gonna shrug my shoulders and call it fixed.

I was concerned about squeaks with missing clips as I've had that problem with my other cars.
