The owner's manual is, of course, unenlightening on this subject.

What light bulbs go in the steering wheel audio controls? And are they plug and play, or is this one of those cases where you have to solder?

Not anywhere I can find. One thread features a link from SaukRapids that no longer works. Everyone else on the thread says there ought to be a writeup, but there isn't. Which, unless your search skills are better than mine, is where we're still at, three years later.

theres stuff on yt. if changing em to led you need tp add a resistor. if going stock, just unsolder and resolder in the new bulbs, or the easy way out is to just buy new switches.

Your best bet would be to get new control pods and replace them. We all know you can't understand things written in English, why bother trying to educate you.

replacing them is not a standard repair, the switches were designed to be replaced as a unit. they pop out and then you can disassemble and solder new bulbs in them.
