I went to a buddy's house last night, and was parked nose- in on a little bit of an incline. When I wet to leave, the car started sputtering something fierce. I pulled into a parking lot, and pulled the codes, and had a p0301 & p0201. Limped it home, cleared the codes, went in to bed. Got up this am to run one of the kids to school, and it drove as good as ever again. If the injector's going, NBD, but it strikes me odd that it only happened after parking like that the night before. the day prior I had driven 150-ish miles with no issues whatsoever. I know that at least my sending unit is going out, but fuel pressure was around 53 psi at idle, so it seems like the pump and FPR are otherwise functional. Maybe crap in the tank? That seems a little strange too, as it's always fed top-tier 93 octane. Any ideas?

Nothing? Trying to put off replacing the fuel pump a little longer if I can, if anyone else has had a similar experience rooting from some other issue.

**Update- I went out on my lunch break, and the car seemed to do ok till I got back in at the store. Throwing a p0201 and p0301 again, stuttering, and watching live data, the #2 cyl is misfiring, but not the #1, and no code for cyl. # 2. What I'm seeing in real time is not matching the active code. Any ideas???

I'd check the wiring harness to the injector and make sure it's good. IIRC, you can put a 194 blub in the injector harness that clips to the injector itself and see if it is getting power correctly. I've had critters chew up wires back there before and it wasn't obvious for a bit until it corroded enough to cause an issue.

I'll give that a shot this evening after work. so unhook the harness at the injector and put the bent leads from the bulb in the harness? Then key on engine off, or turn the motor over all the way?
