Is it cold on the pass side? Does driver side eventually get cooler?

I drove it around the block and it stayed the same. It dont blow like the heater is on, its more like luke warm. Also the compressor does not cycle on and off and the a/c will not turn off at the button. Any ideas?

Low on freon? If it's low it can also only blow cold on one side, typically the passenger.

I just charged it last week, but I will check it again to make sure it's still full. Thanks for the info. I may need some more help as I'm not an a/c expert. I have worked on cars for 40 years. Most of the cars I have owned have been antique hot rods with out a/c. Once again thanks for the help.

I'm no a/c expert either. But I've had 2 vehicles that had the same issue when low on freon. My Impala needs topped off probably every other summer. Pretty sure it's leaking at the low pressure valve because it gives off a hiss when I take the cap off. It will only blow cold on the passenger side until I top it off. But the driver side does eventually get colder when I drive for maybe 10-15 minutes.

I added some more freon and that worked. Thanks for the advice.
