lord or lord. can you smell what bandook is cooking????? lol
i ran mine down the pass side near the strut tower, then across the top of the rack pretty much to the o2 location.
check the fuse did not blow too. not sure what number it would be on your car, but its marked IGN.

Wish I could say it did... Still going lean the longer I tune. Here's what I did after unplugging the O2. I tuned idle real quick. Took it for a run, it was fat. Figured it was because i tuned it with a messed up o2. So i lean it out in those cells. Get it within a few percent, some cells were off more. Multiply by half %. Go for another run and it's now going 6-8 percent lean again.
Went to Advanced and tested battery. It's a little weak but fine. Took it home. Swapped in a different 2 bar map. No difference. Sprayed a couple cans of cleaner thinking it must be a vacuum leak that is showing up with high heat, maybe intake or TB. Couldn't find anything.
Any other ideas? I'm guessing injectors at this point. For some reason those SD 60's never sat right with me. Mostly because there is no values to be found or how to properly set them up in HP tuners. Everyone says you gotta buy a 300 dollar dvd to get the specs. I am thinking next step is try my other set, I think 42lb. Considered MAF but it doesn't look weird in scans.
Let me ask this. Am I silly for thinking that once I get a tune dialed in within a couple percent that it should stay there? Seems to me it should. I'm not wasting all my beautiful summer evenings after work trying to fix this turd. But I can't get it out of my head, lol. It's a sickness. I could get a nicer, newer car, but I'm freakin' attached to this build by sweat, blood...and now tears haha. I know you guys know what I mean.
Thanks for the thoughts. Wish one of you guys lived close to Columbus. I may have to get a hold of Dyno Brian from Dyno Tune Motorsports. He has a good rep around HPTuners, and he's local. Not gonna spend 500 for a dyno session, but maybe he has some email tune magic he can do with my scans.

So you're back on a 2 bar? You should only be running a 1 bar. I need to take a look at your tune. It wasnt working for me yesterday when I tried.
You're right though. Once tuned, it should stay within a few percent. You are waiting for it to get to operating temp before tuning, right?

Yeah 1 bar, haven't gotten to the yard yet.
Do you know how to convert a .bin to .hpt? I want my stock tune back on my car and start from scratch.

I don't. You need to find someone with computer programming training to convert it.
The way I do it is through the pcm. Read it with DHP to get the .bin file. Read it with hpt to get the .hpt file.

After looking at you tune, and then closer at your scan, I'm almost positive this has something to do with your map sensor. I can watch the map and as it gets below 60-70, afr leans out. Above that, it goes back to 14.7.

Well that's the direction we're going then partner, lol. Cause I'm clueless. I went to the yard this morning and grabbed a1 bar map. Suckers are hard to find cuz every engine I looked at had a broken MAP sensor. I was like wtf people. and then I broke the first three that I tried to take off. Anyways, I'll give it a try tonight.

I'm also wondering about that MAF sensor extension harness I think I got from zzp. the reason is is because I used their injector adapters when I first did the swsp. They were absolute crap. Could not get the car to run with them installed so I just directly soldered the injector plugs and it fixed that issue.

Well that sucks. I still have my stock bin. I wish I could go back to that. Dhp had settings that hptuners didn't. And im pretty sure I made changes in tiny tuners. I know hptuners used to be able to open bins. Maybe I can find an old version of hpt, save my stock bin as .hpt, and then open in latest version of hpt? I'll try that too. I think Bills Dropbox has old version of hpt.

Yeah there is an old version of hpt in the dropbox that opens bin files.

got to hptuners site and dl a stock file, then compare and copy it all back to stock.
dhp was cool with one click reset the whole bin back to stock.

That's not going to work because he changed more parameters than hpt has access to.

thars where crap gets funky then, because of the vin and osid. you'd need the dhp to read it then edit it, then open it in 2.2 old hpt and save it as a .hpt

So I need DHP tuner to read the pcm, or dhp software to edit my stock bin? I was thinking i'd be able to open my stock bin from 4 years ago with hpt, then just save as hpt. Not so easy?
Ok, update. 1 bar map installed and settings changed for it in hpt. I let the car idle for 10 minutes. It kept getting leaner as it sat. Then I had a "duh" moment. It was leaning out with the IAT climbing temps. Looked back at my old logs and the IAT got as high as 140ish. I had a diy fender intake installed for years. Just a few months ago I made it a HAI, because reasons.. I thought I read that it was overall better. Maybe I made that up?
Anyways, I put my old intake setup back, did two back to back tunes and am not seeing it go suddenly lean in the scans. I'm just pulling fuel. IAT is just a little over ambient. When i sit and idle it of course inches up, but not like it did before. I just didn't realize I'd see such a swing in performance with the IAT's. Makes sense now. Also makes me feel like an idiot. If this is fixed, sorry I wasted your time.
Would still like to get my stock tune as a base and start over. I emailed HPT support and asked if they would convert my bin to hpt. They said, nope. Seems they thing i'm gonna reverse engineer their precious software if they do this for me. Whatever...
Emailed Dyno Brian about maybe buying his injector settings for sd 60's. I may or may not get them. He asked how much it was worth, i said 30-50 for me, and haven't heard back. Whatever...

was this pcm already tuned with a dhp? if so what ever you edited with dhp or Tiny tuner is still there.
if this bin you have was from another car its not gonna work with out changing the vin and osid numbers or you will have to lic it to flash it.

The stock file i have is the unmodified first read I did with dhp when I first got it. It's my car's virgin file.
I remember changing a thing or three with tiny tuners. Can't remember what. Some injector tables for sure. I think TT had a lot more PE tables that I may have messed with. Wondering if that's why my car won't stay locked at 14.7 commanded even though pe is set to 0%. That's not a big deal though.
Basically my current tune is a revision of what i had done after messing with TT.
