After replacing the pressure control solenoid and the rack and pinion on a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix, we are failing miserably on successfully starting the car.
At first, there was no fuel pressure but we had spark. We corrected the fuel pressure but now lost all spark. We replaced spark plugs and coils, crankshaft position sensor, cleaned the throttle body, all relays and fuses are good, good battery, tested ignition control module and still nothing. It cranks but then nothing happens. Could the crankshaft relearn thing or the theft deterrent be an issue? Or what are we doing wrong??? On all the theft deterrent articles I have read, they state to look for the "Security light" on the dash. It is to my understanding that 2006 models did away with the dash light. So not too sure if it is armed or not....HELP!!! No access to a GM Scan tool anymore...
