My ABS light is on and my TCS Off Light is on. I've noticed my ABS engaging when braking randomly sometimes, so from what I understand this indicates that one of the wheel speed sensors is bad. So, I know that I can go to a shop and pay them to scan it with an ABS Scan tool, but is there an easy DIY way to figure out which wheel speed sensor to replace?

Secondly, can you get the wheel speed sensor independently? Or do you have to replace the whole hub assembly?

You have to replace the whole hub if its a sensor. It's all one piece. If it's a wiring issue you can test by removing the plug from each hub one at a time and connect a multimeter to the contacts in the hub and then spin the wheel a bit to see if it generates a signal (voltage). If you find one that isn't then that's the hub that's bad. If all 4 check out then you have a wiring issue, which is likely up from the plug about 2-3". They like to corrode/get dry wire and cause issues. Depending on the year you can just replace the harness section from the hub to the loom where it meets up in front of the control arm. If not, then you can cut/soldier/heat shrink some new wire in there and it'll work.

    You replace the whole hub.

I think it was burbman that posted instructions on how to test each sensor.
