According to rockauto, the Stant 12032 adapter is what's needed to screw onto the filler neck of my 04 gtp (I have the Stant 12270 tester). So I ordered it, try to put it on, and the f'ing will not thread onto the filler neck. Does anyone else have this adapter? It's like I can't even get a turn out of it and it won't bite the threads, just screws on cock-eyed and backs itself off. Threads aren't damaged, radiator cap screws on effortlessly. I don't wanna go all he-man on it since these are plastic threads. I did a part search on Stant's website and it says the 12032 is the right one..
