Hello All. I took my door off my 2000 2 door GT, cause the sagging. I bought the rebuild kit to rebuild it but come to find out the bigger long pin that holds it together is snapped. So I need to replace the pin. Can you buy just the pin that fit's it. I am unsure what size it is so I don't want to order the wrong one. I also hate to order used hinges cause they would still need rebuilt I'm sure. Please help. I need to get this door back on...

^^ agree, put on a set of good condition hinges. I ended up replacing my hinges then shimming a little to get the swing and closing correct.

    80 for 1/2 a hinge? f that crap.

theres parts outs listed here. any 97-03 hinge will work.

That doesn't sound like a "you pull it" junkyard price, but a salvage hinge with your new bushing kit in it would normally be the easiest solution. Now that the pin is broken, the spring might be missing. Putting the spring in can be tricky so yeah I'd opt for a salvage hinge if available. But the "door roller pin" (your search term), which I usually call the detent roller, is available seperately but its a GM part and its a common one if I'm researching correctly. Under $10. Shared part with S-10s. If I were you, I'd stick the door back on and use it without detents, carefully, until you can locate a part.
All Grand Prix, all the time. 69 Model J, 99 GT & GTP coupes. All junk, haha.

in a pinch you could swap with the passenger side. The hinges are the same left and right, just swapped top and bottom.
