I have some major questions but I would rather do it by phone. Is there any way I could talk to you about these things?

    You had say the 10th digit is a W but on my 99 it's a X, what's up with that? It was a 3800

The 98 gtp is parts because someone rolled it. My 00 blew the motor. Can I take the gtp subfram and all out and put it in the 00. What else would I need to transfer?

The other 98 that I have has been modded and I'd like to know how much maybe. All I know right now, it has slp headers. What else can I see without digging into it to much? Looks as though it has a new water pump also but may just be stock type

Minor, but perhaps worth mentioning that you'll need to budget a throttle body adapter, motor mounts (iirc they are different due to the newer oil pan design), perhaps a few other minor things for your swap if you go the L32 route.

So what I am gathering is I am best to stay with an l67 shortblock (or long depending on prices) and use that as the swap for my 2001 gtp

One other question being I didn't tear mine all the way down yet, what are the odds that I burnt a piston and my block still being good after some honing? . . . Maybe I would be better just putting new pistons and rods in my block with the money I save from not buying a separate block

you can still get a l32, and re use your lim and blower and tb. your changing the lim gaskets anyway. sell the gen 5 blower for a couple hundos.

So which has better rods though, l67 or l32? Don't plan on making enough power to break one either way but really don't want to snap one 20 miles down the road

l67 has better rods, but the l32 rods are just fine too. its a non issue really.

Ok, I might have found a decent l32 complete just waiting on getting it started to see if she runs good
