    Gran prix gran supercharged engine starts up and runs for about 10-20
    Secs then sets a po68 code and then reduce power tracksion control I replaced the mad sensor and it still happens someone please help

    thats not a full code. and mad sensor? you must mean map or maf....

    and what you driving? year make miles......

    Dtc p0068

    The ECM compares throttle position to expected engine load based on MAF and MAP sensor inputs. If the ECM determines that the current load and throttle position are not consistent with the expected load and throttle position, DTC P0068 is set.

    TPS sensor failure was common with GM. When the sensor fails the ECM puts the engine in safe (reduced power) mode.

    He's got a vacuum leak to the MAP.
    the P0068 is the MAF/MAP correlation error.
    An engine is an engine no matter the size.... I think Dr. Seuss said that... or maybe it was Big Weld....

    The engine is a 3.8 supercharged 2006 gran prix with 242,000 miles.I changed the mad sensor and the code po60 happen again the it showed up reduced power traction control.I had to clear the code to get full power back

    No. It is the MAP and MAF Correlation error. You have a vacuum leak to the map sensor or a broken line to the sensor. I dealt with this code for months only with help here to find that I had a checkvalve in the system that didn't allow boost to the MAP.

    Basically the MAP and the MAF don't jive and the PCM shuts you down to keep you from killing the engine.

    I will bet dollars to doughnuts yOu have a leak in the line going to the MAP sensor.

    i recall this battle...ford parts on a GM NOT good lol

    Yeah it was a hell of a struggle for a really odd problem. Now I've got to replace the lines since I have had at least 3 times where the the vacuum line has broken or cracked and given me the same issue. I must have bought the roll of vacuum line that the store has had since it opened and it's already dry rotted lol.
