Ok guys, 2002 Grand Prix gt. The DRL's work but I have no low beam headlights. Place a glove over the DRL sensor and the side Amber lights illuminate but no low beams? High beams work when selected and fog lamps work as well. I cleaned all grounds, replaced the ignition switch and checked all fuses. Not sure if it's related but my door chime sounds when the door is open without a key in the ignition. I've searched the forums for an answer and tried all suggestions related to my issue. Could it be my headlight switch?

I've checked the underhood fuse box and there are no hdm relays only a 60 amp "large fuse" for the headlamps. Is there an hdm relay in one of the interior fuse boxes?

HDM relay is a 2004-2008 issue.

Yeah, wasn't thinking clearly on that one since I just had an issue with mine on my car.

The low beams do not come on with the switch either. If i turn the switch to parking, parking lights come on, when i turn to headlights no change. But the higbeams will work when activated by the stalk at the steering column.

Time to get out the multi-meter (or test light) and a wiring schematic. I'd start with the bulbs; do they work. Check the headlight switch; is it getting power.

Just an update. While tracing wiring with a multimeter, the problem was loose connections at the high beam stalk. All functions are working now. Thank you to those you took the time to help and comment on the post.
